  25. I work Customer Support/Tech Support with an ISP, and have had the exact 
  26. same problems - Hayes Century Rack modems (Hayes Optima) - with 
  27. connections to USR modems, especially the sportsters. This only seems to 
  28. be a problem at connection rates above 19.2 kbps.

  30. The problem seems to stem from the modems not establishing LAP-M or ARQ 
  31. correctly, but I am not sure of this. Any solutions or advice would be 
  32. appreciated!
